The SHS Victory Bell
The Victory Bell was first used to celebrate Skyview's 1st football playoff game on Nov. 4th, 2006 against South Kitsap High School.
Jim and Lea Foote were the first to ring the bell, followed by Mr. Ed Little, principal, and then Steve Kizer, head football coach.
The bell came out of a church in Michigan. Transportation of the bell was graciously donated by Duane and Linda Fritz, Landstar Inway Transport, of Scappoose, Oregon.
DeaMor masterfully designed and built the bell cart and donated all the materials. The cart allows for easy transportation to and from Skyview's many events. DeaMor is a local skylight manufacturer here in Vancouver.
Rob Perdue, Skyview parent, skillfully painted the bell for us.
Mr. Little held a circle assembly to recognize those who helped make this wonderful addition to Skyview's community.
